I thought I’d been called just about everything on blogs, but this is the first time I’ve been an “anti-Christian homophobe”!

Back on MEP Roger Helmer’s blog and someone called John M.J. writes:

I would ask you all to note that Mr. Stewart Cowan is a noted and well-known anti-Christian homophobe who regularly posts his idiotic, unsupportable, literalist Biblical opinions at www dot pinknews dot co dot uk.

I wasn’t aware I was well known anywhere, so that’s a positive! For the record, I may have commented on as many as two or three dozen articles on the Pink News website.

John says my posts are “idiotic, unsupportable, literalist…”. They can’t be all three, because, for instance, if I take the Bible literally, then my posts are supported, but he could still consider them ‘idiotic’ even though that is a very rude thing to say about who is supposed to be a fellow believer.

Oh, John – Christ took scripture literally when he repeated Genesis (Matthew 19):

“And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh”

John continues:

He is well known in the gay blogosphere for his rants against mainstream Christianity and for attacking loving Christianity with hatred and vile calumnies of his own lurid invention.

By ‘loving Christianity’ of course he means liberal lunacy on the road to Hell. Tragically, he neither understands the concepts of repentance for sins nor forgiveness for others’ sins (I say this as he seems to think I am a sinner for pulling him up for his own sins to help him avoid the plains of Hell.)

He claims to be a Christian but, obviously, he isn’t – he is merely an agent of Satan, and he can be safely discounted from any argument because his ignorance of Christianity and the Laws of our European Union and the history of our Continent and our faith is profound and is magnificently, but most evilly, centered in his own prejudices.

I think I can prove him wrong. I am trying to save this man by asking him to repent of his sins in order that he enjoys eternity with the Almighty. If I were, as he claims, an agent of Satan, then I would be doing the opposite, like they are doing in the liberal churches.

As for “the Laws of our European Union,” it is not my European Union. It is a dangerous and an increasingly anti-Christian tool for carving out a one world government with its one world religion, i.e. worship of the Beast.

Am I really of the Devil, John? Ask yourself this: am I warning you about his snares to lead you to him or away from him?

For we Gay Christians Stewart Cowan represents, is an agent of, nothing more than the Devil, as he spins his vile lies and promulgates hatred in the name of the Christ who preached only love.

A thing I have learned in life is that people who live in their own world, separated from reality, can pretty much say anything and expect to get away with it. “Gay Christians” to use John’s expression, are such people. They think that in order to justify their ungodly behaviour, they just say things like “Christ who preached only love.” They seem to assume that all the warnings in scripture about sin are irrelevant to them. The constant calls to repentance go right over their head. They are like children with a favourite toy that has fallen halfway down a cliff and they will risk their neck to try and get it back, ignoring all the obvious dangers. The danger of remaining unrepentant is much greater than physical death, i.e. spiritual death for eternity.

John demonstrates his confusion when he says this:

I’m sorry, Mr. Helmer, but that is what you are doing, too. You ar believing in guidelines as if they were rules and denying the operative love of Christ – exactly as Mr. Cowan does.

Some of the “guidelines” are actually ‘commandments’.

John finishes in a sweeter tone:

I’ll pray for both of you – I’ll ask our good Lord to forgive you both. He will, you know, for He is kind.

Indeed, I know His kindness. I wouldn’t still be alive without it. He still calls on sinners to repent. He is not a liberal.

The ultimate proof of the “gay Christian’s” confusion (and “God is not the author of confusion”) is that I am being defamed by people who claim to be my fellow believers for warning them about sin. We are meant to edify each other in love. “Gay Christians” won’t allow themselves to be edified because they have too much pride, which of course ‘cometh before destruction’. I believe, as millions now do, that these are the final days before Christ returns. Such wickedness and confusion reigns in the hearts and minds of so many that they cannot readily tell right from wrong anymore. Instead of being ‘in the world, but not of it’ they have become in it and of it and are thus in tremendous danger spiritually.

I tried leaving comments to John on Mr Helmer’s site, but they have somehow disappeared, which they weren’t doing yesterday.

I wrote that the Lord died for our sins, but those sins must be repented of – not continued with.

After the Lord healed the man on the Sabbath, he told him, “Behold, thou art made whole: SIN NO MORE, lest a worse thing come unto thee.”

He told the adulteress that He didn’t condemn her and to “go, and SIN NO MORE.”

We all make mistakes. We all think we know best at times. We have all given in to temptation. If we don’t learn to deal with it, with the Almighty’s help of course, then we relegate ourselves to the same condition as the people in the days of Noah and later on, Sodom and Gomorrah.

Look what happened to them.

We know from scripture that these are warnings for things to come, when fire will destroy the world and the sheep and goats will be separated; some going to Heaven and the rest to everlasting condemnation.

It sounds like you are losing the spiritual battle by yielding to the flesh. This message is delivered in LOVE by someone who wants you to be saved.
