The schoolboy in a dress

The Mail reports on a Sun article,
A 12-year-old boy is preparing to have a sex change operation after returning to school following the summer break as a girl, it was claimed today.
The boy, who has now had his name changed to a girl’s by deed poll, apparently arrived at school in a dress and pigtails.
Okay…

Betrayed

I’ve just read this article in the Scotsman: Scotland’s alcohol problem: ‘I drink to get out my face and fall asleep’. It paints a very bleak picture of life in Shettleston in Glasgow’s East End.
BEHIND the third barstool at the Portland Arms in Shettleston, a small brass plaque is fixed to the bar. “Davie Gerthy’s [...]

Do we really need a psychologist to state the obvious?

From the Christian Institute website. I’ll reproduce the entire article as it is so sensible.
Parents who fail to exert authority have bred a “spoilt generation” of children who believe adults must earn their respect, a top psychologist has warned.
Dr Aric Sigman’s research shows that many social problems, including teenage pregnancy and anti-social behaviour, are due [...]

Mainstream media and the truth

While looking at the stats for this blog, I noticed a few people had clicked from John Rentoul’s blog. Who? Apparently he is chief political commentator for The Independent on Sunday. As it turns out, he was quoting from my post Has Osama Bin Laden been dead for over seven years to use as an [...]

In custody for giving three year old cigarette

A man has been kept in custody, awaiting sentence, for offering a three year old girl a cigarette.
He had been drinking before giving the girl the lit cigarette and getting a fourteen year old to film it on her mobile phone.
It was undoubtedly a selfish, stupid thing to do. Even Mick Foley, defending, said: ‘I [...]

Can British politics be decontaminated?

Cranmer has a great post today comparing the socialists who infest the civil service to cockroaches. The Times, he writes, reveals that Whitehall employs dozens of union officials costing between £150,000 and £4.5 million per department.
Cranmer continues,
When one considers the problems which certain unions may present an incoming Conservative administration, this revelation is of immense [...]

Has Osama Bin Laden been dead for over seven years – and are the U.S. and Britain covering it up to continue the war on terror?

The Daily Mail website has an article written by Sue Reid, who proposes that Osama bin Laden died in 2001 from complications relating to his kidney illness.
Actually, it has long been suspected by those of us in touch with the ‘truth movement’ that he may be dead, but it is good to see the mainstream [...]

PC has got ‘completely out of control’ says Chairman of the Strathclyde Police Federation

I have a friend who recently stopped working for the police after many years. She was in the process of telling me what police officers thought of ‘homophobia’ when I interjected and suggested that they thought it was all a bit silly, but she said, oh no, if you disagree with homosexuality, they think there’s [...]

9/11 – Charlie Sheen calls on Obama to deliver the truth

On this eighth anniversary of the carnage of 9/11, we again think of those who died and lost loved ones and the many firefighters who have died and continue to die from the effects of inhaling the toxic fumes from that day.
My thoughts on the day of 11th September 2001 were of disbelief that such [...]

No room at the inn for smokers

Leg-iron wonders why bans work. Is it because people love to be nannied? Do people fall for the propaganda; the over-hyping of dangers like second-hand smoking? Are law-abiding folks generally used to being treated fairly and so don’t know how to deal with ridiculous new legislation, like banning the public from photographing policemen?
Why won’t people [...]
