Gordon has a new catchphrase to win back the middle classes
At the Fabian Conference today, Gordon Brown unveiled his catchphrase to win back the middle classes:
Social mobility for the majority.
But the Prime Minister has a problem with “social mobility for the majority”. New Labour clearly despises the middle classes, so it just looks like he wants more people to hate – and tax. Or have I got it the wrong way round? Is he really talking about downwards mobility? I know people who have recently lost jobs and money and are moving down the classes faster than a perpetual truant from an inner city comp who has just had an unsuccessful brain-swap operation.
Labour depends on people who are socially immobile, i.e. stuck to the bottom of the class pile like bird-cage liner, so if the “majority” really were able to mobilise themselves out of poverty and struggle, Labour wouldn’t form a government ever again.
Sounds good to me, but I don’t think Gordon’s serious. Do you?

I can only speak from my own experience, but as far as I can see the only direction the Socialists want the ‘mobility’ to take is down, i.e. drag all Upper and Middle classes down to level of manual labourers and steal all their cash. Eat the rich, and all that.
PS I don’t have anything against manual labourers, I am one.
The middle classes must be wiped out for total socialist control. It shows how the elites like to laugh at our expense when they invent something like this for Brown. Surely even he can see what a ridiculous idea it is? Maybe not.
I’m not even a labourer, I’m a lazy person who sits at his laptop watching the orders come in on the shopping cart.
Sadly I was in the middle of the middle class and going well, until an accident and Now I’m on the bottom.
New labour has little chance of the so called working class bothering to vote for them, so they have to look at Middle England, they have even asked Blair to come back , sadly I’ve a feeling Blair and brown would not make a difference.
If anyone who is middle class votes for New Labour then they are just really, really stupid – or make their money from the things New Labour promotes like sex, abortion, crime and war.
You can still be a class act without wealth!
