And James Finlayson, in the L&H clip, reminds us of where, 'D'oh!' really came from.

I find a lot of Tull's songs need a few listens to appreciate their brilliance, but I found The Whistler instantly likeable, which is the reason I chose it. Always trying to make converts!

Oh yes, Wrinkled. I started buying the LPs in the mid-80s, then had to top them up with CDs (bah humbug!). I've never seen them play. I was a bit of a late starter even though I've been a fan for nearly quarter of a century. I'm a little jealous you know one of the members. Well, quite a bit actually!

Never knew you were a Jethro Tull fan, Stewart. So am I. I was certainly into the early period of Tull, and when Songs from the Wood came along I was glad it showed a return to form. I did not actually see the band until the Catfish Rising tour, and thereafter a few more times. This summer we had Glenn Cornick and his wife staying with us, and Glenn joined in a session I arranged at a local pub. He still plays with the members of the band from time to time, usually at conventions.
