So much for free speech on guardian.co.uk

Further to my previous post about Stonewall and this comment thread on The Guardian’s website, two of my comments were deleted for mentioning the fact that Stonewall is meant to be a charity, yet derives little of its funds from personal donations.

My inital comment on the subject was in reply to someone called Bovved, who praised the ‘charity’s’ tireless fundraising. I replied,

When I noticed that this simple comment had been removed, I added this one:

This has also been removed.

Maybe they don’t want the wider public to realise how much influence a few big business and government-sponsored, unelected people meeting in a room have over the rest of society.

P.S. And they haven’t approved my ‘Real Street’ logo.
