Oh dear!
Politics.co.uk reports that,
One third of university students do not know Gordon Brown is leader of the Labour party, according to a surprising new survey out today.
The poll, conducted by student accommodation provider Unite, asked 1,500 students about various political issues.
A third also did not know David Cameron was leader of the Conservative party, while 48 per cent did not know who Nick Clegg was.
But the lack of interest in Westminster politics did not reflect a general apathy. Many of the students questioned clearly believed passionately in more issue-based politics.
Sure. Like the ones they’ve been brainwashed to believe ‘passionately’ in, such as the climate change scam.
Four in ten said protesting or joining a party was more likely to achieve change than voting.
But almost half of students said they were unlikely to vote in the next election.
Based on what I have read so far, that comes as a relief.
Nearly two-thirds said the state of higher education has remained static or gotten worse during Labour’s time in power.
‘Gotten’ worse? Yes, I think that proves it.
*Sigh*
