Dan Hannan: wind-up merchant or just naive?

Dan Hannan confidently predicts that there will be an EU referendum.

The question of whether there will be, or should be, a referendum on our continued membership and the terms of that membership is the hottest topic in politics. Too late. We’ve already made that decision. There will be one. It’s just that only now are we realising it.

And follows this with.

“Both the big parties are groping their way towards an In/Out vote.”

I had thought that Hannan was a genuine Eurorealist, but when he comes out with this I have to wonder if he is that little something put in place to give Eurorealist Tories something to grab hold of to stop all of them converting to UKIP permanently.

Dear Dan,

I admire you for your speeches in Parliament, but when you say this, I have to wonder if you are part of the controlled ‘opposition’.

Only last year, Tory MPs were whipped into voting to deny us the referendum, just a year after millions of voters trusted Cameron and his ‘cast-iron guarantee’ at the ballot box, children that they are.

You MUST surely know the agenda! You know that the likes of Cameron and Osborne got to where they are today only because they were prepared to sell out to the globalists. I cannot believe that you do not know this! You do!

Therefore, how can you sit there and type these words?

Even if the government can hold on no longer, we will keep getting referenda until we get it ‘right’.

Even if, after half a dozen such referenda, we still say, “No” to the EU (unlikely, after the inevitable avalanche of BBC and other MSM scaremongering), we will be told, finally, that we are set to leave the burgeoning dictatorship, but then… oh-oh, what’s this?…. Buried deep in some treaty one of our traitors has signed in the past, is a clause which makes it “illegal” for any country to unilaterally leave the EU. This could sneakily be done while the referenda are underway if it isn’t there somewhere already. I remember that banning countries from leaving the EU without consent from the other countries was touted in the past as possible EU policy.

The Tory, Labour and Lib Dem leaderships did not honour their previous so-called pledges on a referendum. They clearly LIED.

Nobody should EVER trust them again. The UK needs to be out of this desperate, destructive empire and the mainstream parties will not and probably cannot do it.
