Al Gore has got it wrong again: hardly surprising considering the number of errors in his propaganda film An Inconvenient Truth. At the Copenhagen climate change summit, he said there is a 75% chance the Arctic could be completely ice-free during the summer in five to seven years’ time. However, the truth is still inconvenient for the former US Vice President,
Mr Gore’s office later admitted that the 75 per cent figure was one used by Dr Maslowksi as a “ballpark figure” several years ago in a conversation with Mr Gore.
The evidence for manmade global warming is beginning to look as shaky as the evidence which was meant to justify war in Iraq. Of course, both are entirely political.
I guess we are supposed to worry ourselves so ill about the Arctic ice melting that we will accept, without question, the tyranny of unfair laws and punitive taxes from a global cabal of ‘scientists’, industrialists and corrupt politicians.
I guess Mr Gore would rather we didn’t see this photo of the nuclear submarine, USS Skate, having surfaced in open water at the North Pole on St. Patrick’s Day – 1959!
